Echoing Irene Kopelman's exhibition, On Glaciers And Avalanches, the students of École de Musique du Sundgau propose a "concert éclaté". Rather than a simple illustration, the budding musicians will construct a musical atmosphere in each room of the exhibition, inspired by both the space and the artworks. Besides works by Satie and Vivaldi, which evoke the bitter winter cold, the various instrumental formations (strings, wind instruments, piano) will also suggest the immutable space of mountains. Baroque, traditional, and contemporary music will offer a peaceful snapshot of the Alpine region.
