Coup de cœur I—A Sentimental Choice showed the work of 41 young artists. To underline the European nature of the project, we called upon the talents of three curators and critics: David G. Torres from Barcelona, Charlotte Brandt from Copenhagen and Camilla Egg from Oslo. They accepted our invitation to choose, within very tight time constraints, a group of young artists. The underlying idea behind this was to create an exhibition with a fresh, audacious feel, without the constraints induced by the fear of risk-taking or making mistakes. The result was a panoramic perspective on a generation, an aclectic look into the current art scene.
Coup de cœur I—A Sentimental Choice is organised with the support of Pro Helvetia—Swiss Arts Council and Mondriaan Fund.
